A wide variety or whole foods, mostly plants, is the foundation of a healthy and nutritious diet.

Here is a link my second of four guest posts on Michael Dahl’s DissidentPotato.com blog. This is about how we have all been lulled into thinking it is alright to eat highly processed “junk” foods that promote chronic diseases instead of real, whole foods that actively promote health. A varied diet of real food straight from the earth or the sea is the only proven path to whole food health. All attempts by scientists so far to “improve” our food or make it more convenient have been dismal failures. These attempts at improvement have not only been failures but have led directly to the world-wide epidemic of “modern” diseases that is now overwhelming healthcare systems and bankrupting nations.
