Running Water Nature Meditation

This five minute video will add some peace and calmness to your day. Allow the sight and sound of running water to take you to a better place and prepare you for what comes next. Simply get comfortable in your chair and watch the water flow. Listen to the burble of the water over the rocks. Breath deeply and evenly while concentrating on the stones beneath the water. Imagine that you are the water. The stones on the bottom are your problems. You meet many problems but you move over and around them without difficulty. The problems can slow you down but cannot stop you. You will eventually wear those problems down to dust.

I have always found nature to be a good subject of meditation. Many studies have shown that just going for a walk in a park or even just being outside have beneficial mental and physical health effects. Watching a video on a screen is not the same as being there but is still effective as a meditation device.

A little five minute meditation like this in the middle of the day can often flick that reset switch. It is much better to be recharged for the rest of the day than run down. Give it a try. I think you will like it.
